Research from the University of New Mexico is showing just how much of an average annual economic impact Los Alamos National Laboratories is making for the state.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, the report says from 2015 to 2017, the lab’s contribution was $3.1 billion.

That could also increase.

A recent statement from the laboratory says they are increasing preferences for local contractors and creating a new office on business partnerships.
