NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The Carson National Forest will be conducting a prescribed burn south of Tres Piedras. Officials say the Dorado/Canada del Agua prescribed burn could start as early as May 7 and will last about three to five days once started.
Officials say a meteorologist will be on site and work with fire personnel to monitor the weather. During the burn smoke may be visible in the surrounding areas.
