Police provide escort for veteran’s memorial motorcycle ride

New Mexico

When Alamogordo Police heard there was a memorial motorcycle ride for an Air Force Veteran, they made sure he got a proper sendoff.

Alamogordo Police officers came across a group of bikers on Sunday and learned they were part of a group called the “Patriot Guard Riders,” taking a local vet’s cremains for a “last ride” around town.

The officers radioed for backup and ended up giving the group a full police escort to the man’s memorial service.
