Hundreds of PNM employees are volunteering across the metro Thursday.
The company is dedicating its annual National Day of Service to Jennifer Riordan, the Albuquerque mother who died on a Southwest Flight on Tuesday.
“She really set the bar high and it’s up to us to try and fill that void that’s been left by her absence,” PNM spokesperson Dan Ware said.
Five hundred volunteers across New Mexico and Texas will be working on 40 different volunteer projects Thursday.
You can follow their progress with the hashtag, #Joy4Jennifer.
