NMDOT, Game & Fish creating Wildlife Corridors Action Plan

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – A new plan will create better ways of protecting wildlife across New Mexico.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation and New Mexico Department of Game and Fish are developing the Wildlife Corridors Action Plan. They will identify wildlife-vehicle collision hotspots and wildlife corridors, along with creating a list of priority projects.

The team wants the public’s input starting Tuesday.
