New Mexico ranks low in computer science policies in classrooms

A new report shows New Mexico is behind the pack in computer science policies in the classroom.

According to the nonprofit Code.org, New Mexico wasn’t implementing eight out of the nine policies that are recommended.

They include allocating funding for computer science programs or establishing rigorous K-12 computer science standards.
