A group of New Mexicans is doing their part to help Hurricane Florence victims.

According to the Carlsbad Current-Argus, Steven Moreno, Luis Armendariz, Adam Galindo and Shayne Cureton formed The New Mexico Search and Rescue Volunteer Group last year to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Earlier this month, the group headed out to the Carolinas.

They spent their time helping some of the nearly 1 million people displaced in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence.
