A New Mexico man is dead after a natural gas well explosion.
According to The Durango Herald, it happened earlier this month at a site in southern La Plata County.
Randy Yellowman, 47, from the Navajo Nation was transferring produced water from a water tank.
That’s when the explosion happened.
Authorities are still investigating what exactly happened.
