The New Mexico man who bought the $4 million winning Mega Millions ticket has come forward.
Timothy Monte of Tohajiilee claimed his prize Tuesday morning.
He bought the ticket at the Giant gas station at Coors and Quail last Friday.
He says he thought the ticket was a $40,000 winner and was surprised to hear he was wrong.
Monte says he is going to help his family with the winnings.
