NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – New Mexico Law Enforcement Officials and community members honored seven officers who died in the line of duty. Seven new names were added at the New Mexico Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony Tuesday, bringing the total number to 217.
The annual memorial service is dedicated to the memory of law enforcement officers and deputies across New Mexico who gave the ultimate sacrifice. The memorial is open to the public at the Department of Public Safety Law Enforcement Academy in Santa Fe.
