A New Mexico couple has been sentenced to a decade behind bars for forcing their kids and animals to live in deplorable conditions.
A jury convicted Sandra and Allan Quick of child abuse earlier this year after their six kids were found living in filth in a Tularosa RV.
The Quicks also pled no contest to animal cruelty charges for neglecting nearly a dozen animals while they were running a business taking in shelter pets and then adopting them out.
Judge Angie Schneider sentenced them Monday to ten years behind bars.
The prosecution had been pushing for at least 25 years.
