Several people have been cited for starting a fire at Bottom Lakes State Park Saturday. Officials say it spread about three to five acres across the park, which is roughly 15 miles southeast of Roswell.

Dexter Fire and Rescue Chief Justin Powell says the blaze broke out after hot charcoal from a grill was dumped in the grass.

The identities and an exact number of people cited for the fire remain unknown at this time.
