CARLSBAD, N.M. (KRQE) – The body of an Artesia man has been recovered from Brantley Lake.

Crews were first alerted to the lake Tuesday after reports of a possible drowning. Friends of 33-year-old Vincent Dominguez said they last saw him in the water before he disappeared.

Wednesday, the area was closed while divers searched for him. His body was found Thursday.
