A militia group that has been patrolling the U.S-Mexico border in New Mexico is being told to leave.

“As an individual law enforcement officer, I think they should allow law enforcement to do the job because we’re the ones that have had the training. We’re the ones that have to keep up with the laws, so let us do our jobs,” Sunland Park Police Chief Javier Guerra said.

Union Pacific Railroad said the group crossed its land to access the site and requested that the group not trespass onto its property.

Monday, Sunland Park police and security officers with the railroad company told members of the United Constitutional Patriots they needed to leave by the end of the week.

A group spokesman said in a social media post that the group will relocate.
