A Moriarty man now faces charges for a road rage incident that landed three Santa Fe bicyclists in the hospital.

It happened back in March on Highway 41 between Eldorado and Galisteo.

A group of cyclists says 40-year-old Jacob Brown deliberately struck them and left the scene.

Back then he was only given a traffic ticket.

On July 20, a grand jury indicted Brown. He now faces several charges including leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving and causing great bodily injury with a vehicle.

KRQE News 13 reached out to the District Attorney’s office to see what led to the charges, but did not hear back.
