An Indiana man is facing charges for causing a scare on an American Airlines flight that landed at the Sunport. The incident happened in October 2022.
Federal investigators said Keith Diemer used the air-drop feature on his phone to message fellow passengers that there was a bomb onboard.
In actuality, there was no bomb.
Diemer was arrested in Indiana and is being extradited to New Mexico.
