Los Lunas plans to create Bosque trail system

New Mexico

The creation of a trail system in the Bosque is in the works in Los Lunas.

The village has budgeted $50,000 for the start of the project north and south of River Park.

It’s part of an agreement with the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District allowing the village to use 1,000 acres of land.

Plans are to eventually create a loop trail for walkers and bicyclists.
