It took more than a month, but Valencia County has finally cleaned up all the trash littering the road to a middle school.

Back in February, a parent expressed her frustration with the trash littering her route to the school every day. There was everything from mattresses and couches, to dead animals.

The county said it had the money to clean it up but not the manpower, and it was working to get the mess cleaned up.

This weekend, the county held a community cleanup and the road is now clear. Parents say they just hope it stays that way.

The county says technically this road is not under its jurisdiction.
