LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KRQE) – An accident involving a student driver left a Las Cruces woman badly injured. Police say the woman was teaching her 14-year-old son how to drive at her home Saturday evening when she fell over while he was backing out.
Her son reportedly panicked and stepped on the gas by mistake, running her over. She remains in critical condition at an El Paso hospital.
