Independence Day parade rolls through Rio Rancho

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – People in Rio Rancho kicked off Fourth of July with a parade.

Crowds filled the street near the Santa Ana Star Center as city leaders and organizations marched by waving their flags wearing red, white and blue. Families at the event say there was something for everyone and that organizers did a great job of honoring the country.

People at the parade say there was something for everyone no matter how old or young.
