Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham says she’s making health care a priority.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, she recently said she wants to address the state’s shortage of doctors offering Medicaid to customers willing to pay for it. Lujan Grisham also supports the expansion of the University of New Mexico Hosptial.

Gov. Lujuan Grisham signed a capital outlay package this year which includes $30 million in state funding for a new medical tower at UNM Hosptial, the only Level 1 trauma center in the state.
