Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham says her administration is working to make New Mexico attractive to young people.

The governor says part of the state’s economic development efforts is to keep or bring back young people in New Mexico. This year, lawmakers approved an extra $25,000 for the “STEM Boomerang” program.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, the program is an annual high-tech job fair at the University of New Mexico to connect graduates with jobs in STEM.
