Three former prosecutors are accusing the Dona Ana County District Attorney’s Office of sexual discrimination and they point to what happened to their “mansplaining” sign as part of their proof.
Cassandra Brulotte, Kelly Rossi and Rebecca Duffin are now suing, saying they were forced into sexist stereotypes when handling cases and were paid less than their male counterparts. The women say they were also told to take down signs that say “no mansplaining” and “the future is female” from their offices.
The lawsuit states when they went to HR about the incidents, they were retaliated against. KRQE News 13 reached out to the DA’s office about the claims, but have not heard back.
