Explosion leaves dozens without homes in Aztec

AZTEC, N.M. (KRQE) – Aztec fire officials are investigating what caused an explosion that left dozens without a home.

Officials say the explosion happened late Sunday morning at an apartment complex near West Chuska Street. One person was injured in the explosion but is expected to be okay.

The Red Cross says it’s helping 48 adults displaced from 24 different apartment units.
