It was a happy reunion in Socorro County on Thursday thanks to a Good Samaritan.
Buddy Williams was walking along a ditch in Lemitar on Thursday morning when he spotted a dog clinging to a culvert.
Williams called the Socorro County Sheriff’s Office who rescued the pup along with the help of two others from the conservancy district.
The dog’s family, who spent the morning searching for him, came forward after seeing a post about the rescue on Facebook.
Thursday afternoon, “Six Toes” was reunited with his relieved owners at the Socorro County Animal Shelter.
