The CW’s newest show, “Roswell, New Mexico,” premiered Tuesday night.
The show is a reboot from the TV series that aired in the late ’90s and shot in New Mexico.
The series follows a girl who discovers her teenage crush is an alien who keeps his supernatural powers hidden.
Tuesday night, people gathered at Lindy’s Diner in downtown Albuquerque for a viewing party.
“If you look at Breaking Bad, what it did for the city of Albuquerque, bringing tourists and everything, it does have an effect. Maybe we will get some residual business from it,” Steve Vatoseow said.
The diner on Fifth Street and Central Avenue is part of the cast, starring in the series as the “Crashdown Cafe.”
