A New Mexico restaurant took high honors for its sauces at the National Buffalo Wings Festival.
The annual competition in Buffalo, New York draws wings and sauce chefs from across the country.
This year, Forghedaboudit, a New York-style Italian joint in Deming, took second place in the extra hot category for its spicy ginger sauce.
It also earned third place in the creative spicy category for its Hatch green chile Alfredo.
The restaurant says the win was a real family affair.
According to the Deming Headlight, owners Kim and Bob Yacone say it was their daughter Caleigh who came up with the Alfredo chile sauce.
