RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – The Rio Rancho Fire Department responded to a fire near 30th Ave and 17th Street, which is northwest of Northern and Rainbow Blvd Thursday. According to The Rio Rancho Fire Department, a woman was grilling inside a camping trailer. Officials say the grill then caught the door on fire.

The woman was able to safely evacuate herself and her dog. Fire officials also were able to put off the fire and no injuries were reported. No other information about the fire has been released.
