ALAMOGORDO, N.M. (KRQE) – Work has wrapped up on a southern New Mexico highway.
The DOT says crews have completed the Highway 54/70 Corridor Project between Alamogordo and Tularosa. The improvements include new shoulders, wider turn lanes and new medians.
Work began two years ago. The project cost $32 million.
