NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Community gardens will be going up in two rural New Mexico communities. The New Mexico Food Security Grant of $41,000 was awarded to the Curry County Health Council.
The money from the grant will go towards building the gardens in Melrose and Grady. The garden projects will be run by students in the agriculture and science departments in the area.
