Clovis preschool worker charged with battery, dozen counts of child abuse

The Clovis preschool worker caught on camera fighting in front of students has been charged.

Last week video KRQE News 13 obtained shows Elizabeth Parrez throwing punches at another employee, then throwing her to the ground at Future Generations Learning Center.

At one point, a 5-year-old accidentally gets kicked in the head, prompting her parents to sue the school for negligence. 

Parrez has now been charged with battery and more than a dozen counts of child abuse because of the 13 children present. 

Parrez is currently behind bars at the Curry County Jail.
