A Clovis man is accused of calling in the bomb threat that shut down the Curry County Courthouse in order to delay a court hearing.

A court clerk got the call back in January from a man telling her one of the judges had ruined his life and he had placed a bomb near the courthouse.

Police did find something that looked like a bomb, but it turned out to be a hoax.

Last week, Jeremy Cook was arrested for making that call after police got an anonymous tip that he did it to delay a sentencing for a woman named Nicole Ramirez.

Cook is being held without bond until his trial.
