City of Santa Fe invites the community to view design ideas for Midtown Campus

New Mexico

The City of Santa Fe is inviting the community to view and vote on some of the design proposals for the Midtown Campus project.

More than 2,000 people submitted surveys for what they’d like to see on the University of Art and Design campus.

The school is closing after this spring semester.

Teams compiled the community input and will be showing off their designs next week.

“We ask people to come in and tell us what they like and hopefully what they like maybe some things they don’t like and then vote on their favorite overall visions and then pieces of their overall visions,” said Matthew Brown, Office of Economic Development Director

Next Friday evening from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. everyone is invited to check out the designs at the Chavez Center Community Room.

Also, next Thursday and Sunday there are longer presentations planned.
