A Santa Fe hospital is becoming part of one of the nation’s leading hospitals.
Officials at Christus St. Vincent Reginal Medical Center announced Tuesday that it has joined the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
This gives the hospital direct access to Mayo Clinic physicians and collaborations. U.S. News and World Reports rate the Mayo Clinic as one of the best in the nation. There is no additional cost to patients, and they can avoid unnecessary travel or inconvenience.
Founded in 1865, Christus St. Vincent was the first organized health care facility in the New Mexico Territory. It also is a private, not-for-profit hospital serving more than 300,000 people in seven counties in northern New Mexico. It employs more than 2,400 physicians and associates.
