Belen firefighters weren’t going to let a tattered American flag fly on Memorial Day.

On a recent fire call, they noticed the worn-out flag was flying on the property. So, they took it down and replaced it with a brand new one.

Belen Fire and Rescue shared photos on Facebook saying it’s important to honor our flag and those who fought to keep it flying.
