Arrest warrants issued for 4 individuals in connection with death of Portales man

Arrest warrants have been obtained in connection with the shooting death of Portales man.

Tuesday, Portales Police were able to obtain warrants for four individuals in connection with the death of 35-year-old Adam Holts. Korbin Baldridge and Manuel Silva are accused of murdering Holts on April 7, believing the victim had stolen their gun.

Morgan Carmichael and Fabian Duran are accused of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Carmichael was taken into custody Tuesday and also faces charges including harboring a felon, accessory to armed robbery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. 

Baldridge and Silva were served their warrants at their detention facilities. Duran has also been taken into custody.

Officials say the case will go before a jury on April 26 in Roosevelt County.
