Angel Fire Ski Resort kicks off winter season early

New Mexico

The Angel Fire Ski Resort is up and running for the season.

Across the state, the season kicked off early. At Angel Fire, El Nino fueled a base of 46 inches.

Opening weekend has plenty for skiers and snowboarders to look forward to, including discounted tickets and lodging and free admission for fifth graders.

The Resort RV Park is also gearing up for the holiday season with new events.

“On New Year’s Eve, we’re having our first annual themed soiree. So this year we’re doing Felix the Cat since he’s celebrating 100 in 2019. We also have hot tub socials, hot chocolate socials, fire pit… Lots of things to do,” said Rebecca Rapp, General Manager of Angel Fire RV Resort.
