'Back-to-School' immunization clinics to be held across New Mexico

BELEN, N.M. (KRQE) - The Belen Public Health Office is among several hosting a series of back-to-school immunization clinics.

Healthcare providers are partnering with the state to host the free clinics from July 19 to August 12.

Parents should bring a copy of their child's shot record and their insurance card, including Medicaid, with them.

In Roswell, the clinic will be held July 28.

On top of offering free shots, the Vital Records Registrar will be available for people to get copies of their New Mexico birth certificates.

To obtain a New Mexico birth certificate, a parent or grandparent will need to bring a valid government issued picture ID and $10 cash or check for each certified copy.
