Monday, the New Mexico Secretary of State announced for the first time ever, voters can now request an absentee ballot online.

People can go to the new site NMvote.org. There, you can register to vote or update voter registration, find a voting location, and check on important election dates.

County clerks will begin sending absentee ballots to voters who have successfully completed the application process next month, and send them out until June.
