ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Black Friday is usually a day for shopping, but this year New Mexico State Parks are hoping you’ll “opt out.”
The state has officially joined the Opt-Outside initiative, a project led by REI.
The goal is for more people to unwind, relax and experience a great adventure at a State Park close to home.
To show its support, the Park Service has made entrance to all 34 New Mexico State Parks free on Black Friday.
