New Mexico’s Secretary of State is in Washington D.C. to talk about securing America’s election system.
Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse-Oliver testified at a hearing Tuesday for house oversight and government reform.
The hearing prompted by the alleged Russian meddling into the presidential campaign.
“Election officials like myself are taking the possible threat of foreign actors meddling in our elections, very seriously,” Toulouse-Oliver said.
Toulouse Oliver pointed to New Mexico’s system, calling us a leader in election best practices.
