ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico isn’t one of the best places to retire according to a recent survey by WalletHub.
New Mexico ranks 45th in the country for retirement. What hurt New Mexico the most is its property crime rate. but the state did do well in issues like adjusted cost of living and cost of in-home services.
Florida, Wyoming and South Dakota ranked as the best places to retire. Rhode Island came in at the bottom of the list.
