New Mexico House unanimously approves ‘Right to Try’ bill

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – House of Representatives unanimously approved a bill that allows terminally ill patients to try drugs that have not been approved by the FDA.

“The Right to Try Act” would establish a process for terminally ill patients who are out of other treatment options. Over 33 states have adopted right to try laws to make it easier for critically ill individuals to receive experimental treatments.
