ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The attorney general is warning about a scam targeting struggling New Mexico homeowners.
AG Hector Balderas says someone is calling people claiming to be from NationStar Mortgage, offering loan modifications.
Victims are asked to wire money, up to $12,000, that they will never get back.
