New, ergonomic pillow claims to slow aging

News

TORONTO, CANADA (KRQE) – You’ve heard of pillows promising better sleep, but what about one that helps you look younger, longer?

Two nurses out of Canada say they’ve created just that. They say the Envy Pillow has an ergonomic design, helping to support the neck and natural curve of the spine. The women say it’s been a life-saver for them. They both suffer from scoliosis.

That’s not all. Creators say the sloped sides of the memory foam pillow help to tilt your head when you sleep sideways. Some doctors say that helps to minimize sleep wrinkles and maintain anti-aging treatment results.

“If you are spending a lot of money on anti-aging regimens, you don’t want to go home and then sleep on your face and create that tissue shift that creates lines over time,” said patient Kimberly Kent.

Developers say the pillow also affords users better, more restful sleep.

The pillows cost between $99 and $199. While they’re not approved as a medical device in the US, the company’s website indicates they will ship to the states.
