New alarm clock forces people out of bed

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Say goodbye to snooze buttons. A new alarm clock is forcing you to get out of bed.

The alarm clock, “Ruggie,” utilizes a pressure sensor to turn off the buzzer.

When the “Ruggie” goes off, the owner places two feet firmly on the memory foam mat for at least three seconds in order to turn the alarm off.

The rug costs about $100.
