A lot of excitement in Canton, Ohio Thursday has Hall of Fame inductees, including New Mexico’s own Brian Urlacher head into town. However, fans got a special treat ahead of the event.
They saw the Vince Lombardi trophy for Super Bowl 53 in person.
It was delivered to the NFL Hall of Fame on the John Madden Cruiser.
The original Greyhound bus was converted in 1987 when Madden transitioned from his Hall of Fame coaching career into what became an iconic broadcasting career and decided he no longer wanted to travel by airplane.
Madden recently donated the bus to the Hall of Fame where it will remain on display.
The Hall of Famers including Urlacher, are scheduled to meet with fans later Thursday.
