Starting next week, some emotional support animals will not be allowed on United Airlines flights.
The change made at United Airlines comes after Delta made a similar policy shift in December.
Under the policy, emotional support animals will be limited to dogs and cats
Additionally, puppies and kittens under four months old are completely banned on any flight and all support animals cannot be on flights for longer than eight hours.
United says passengers and crew have been complaining about animals biting and ruining the cabins.
If you need to travel with an emotional support animal, United requires documentation to be completed 48 hours before the flight.
