A man accused of a kidnapping in New Mexico and a shooting in Texas has been arrested in Florida.

According to Daytona Beach Police, Jason Aaron Gibson is accused in a New Mexico kidnapping, but police are not releasing specifics including where the kidnapping happened, details about the victim, or how it happened.

Daytona Beach Police also identify Gibson as the suspect in a murder and attempted murder in El Paso.

El Paso Police say the shooting was the result of a home invasion.

They say 58-year-old Juan Salas was shot and killed, while 58-year old Lorenza Salas and 24-year-old Johnathon Salas were shot and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Daytona Beach Police Department says he was arrested in Daytona Beach after slamming into two patrol cars.

He’s facing charges in Florida for that crash.
