Sunday marks the first official day of Hanukkah.
The Jewish holiday known as the Festival of Lights begins at sunset Sunday night.
It commemorates the victory over the Maccabees over the Syrians around 165 B.C. and the re-dedication of Jerusalem’s Second Temple.
Kids play with dreidels and traditionally get gifts for the holiday.
Hanukkah is eight days long, with each day being marked by the lighting of a menorah.
